The yellow markers on the map below represent the location and the general direction
of the photos I took during the investigation at the Belton Cemetery. Click on the yellow markers to take a virtual
tour of the cemetery and check out the thumbnails below the map for details about where and why many of the photos
were taken. |

orbs (caused by lens refractions, dust particles, etc.) or unexplained anomalies are displayed and analyzed in
the Unusual Photos section of this investigation report.
PHOTOS 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 13 - TAKEN AT OR NEAR THE OLDEST
SECTION
These six photos were taken in the oldest portions of the cemetery, located in the
south-eastern corner. Photos 6
and 7 were taken
due to the interesting tombstones in each picture.
Photos 8 and 9 were taken because of a sudden
and isolated drop in temperature of about 3 to 4 degrees Fahrenheit. See the Temperature Drop section of this investigation
report for more details.
Photo 10 was taken
a short time after the air temperature returned to the baseline...and is a picture of Carry A. Nation's tombstone.
See the Background & History section of this investigation report for details. Note the EMF detector sitting
on the base of the tombstone.
And photo 13 was
taken because of how interesting this twisted old tree looked. |
PHOTOS 1, 11, & 12 - THE CHILDRENS' SECTION
Photos 1,
11, & 12 were taken in a small section
of the cemetery that appeared to be reserved for the burial of children. There is absolutely nothing sadder than
seeing a child's grave...and realizing the life and potential that is lost when the young pass away. You can see
in the photos the toys left behind by loved ones.
As careful and respectful as we were of the graves in all parts of the cemetery, we were even more careful and
respectful in this section of the cemetery. We disturbed nothing, of course...getting close to the graves only
briefly to take EMF readings. |
PHOTOS 2, 3, 4, 5, 14, &15 - VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CEMETERY
These six photos were taken in almost random sections of the cemetery. Photos
2 and 5 were taken of scenes involving
multiple tombstones.
Photos 3 and 15 were taken of Stewart and Edward
at work and Dave and Edward at work, respectively.
Photo 4 was taken
of a huge monument approx. 20 feet tall, with Masonic symbols carved into it.
Photo 14 was taken
of something I had never seen in a cemetery before. This is one of many solar-powered walkway lights I saw planted
in the cemetery near tombstones to light up at night. If you are driving by the cemetery for the first time and
see these lights back in the cemetery and reflecting off other tombstones, it can look a little disconcerting.
